The Helix 30L Backpack: Unmatched Quality and Functionality!

Good day, Matt from Caribee here! Today, we’re going to take a look at the Helix 30L Day Pack. This is a fantastic multi-compartment day pack, perfect for school, university, travel, or anything else you need it for. It features many pockets and storage options, making it a popular, premium-quality day pack.

Looking at the outside, we’ve got heavy-duty Dobby material, which is abrasion-resistant and built to last. On either side of the day pack, you'll find large mesh bottle pockets—perfect for a canteen or water bottles. There's also a compression system on the outside of the day pack, which secures the load when the pack is full.

At the front of the day pack, there's a quick-access mesh pocket for smaller items. Additionally, there’s another zippered pocket at the top, ideal for your phone, keys, or any quick-grab items.

On the side, you'll find a mid-compartment, accessible by zippers, and the main compartment. Inside, the day pack has a 15.4-inch laptop pocket and is hydration-ready. You can easily fit a 2L or 3L hydration reservoir inside. We'll take a closer look at that in a moment when we go inside the bag.

Spinning the bag around, you'll notice the lovely action-back stream padded harness system. The air mesh back system, along with the sternum strap, provides stability while wearing. The EVA foam shoulder straps offer plenty of support, while the air mesh back system ensures superior comfort.

At the top of the pack, there’s a convenient carry handle, and an exit hole for the hydration reservoir hose, if you’re using one.

Now, let’s take a closer look inside the day pack. Here’s a look at the pack unstuffed, which gives us a chance to explore the interior. As mentioned earlier, the top pocket is made from brushed polyester, so you can safely store your phone or keys without worrying about scratches.

Let’s open the compression system and take a look at the mid-pocket. Inside, there’s a spacious front pocket with a well-organized panel, offering plenty of storage options. There’s a zip storage mesh pocket on each side and sleeves for pens and pencils. The pocket is large enough to fit an A4-sized book or folder.

Now, moving into the main compartment: this bag is designed to accommodate a 15.4-inch laptop and a hydration reservoir. The padded laptop sleeve fits the laptop easily, while still leaving plenty of room for other items. The compartment offers deep storage potential, perfect for school, uni, or travel.

As an added bonus, if you want to use the hydration reservoir, simply remove the laptop and place it into the sleeve. There's a securing point for the hydration reservoir, and the hose exits through the top of the bag.
